Parque de Diversiones

Sunday we went to Parque de Diversiones, an amusement park, but it was over the maxium limit of guests so we were allowed to go into the park but couldn't ride anything. So we went to "Old Town" a remake of old Costa Rica and then walked around to see all the rides and then went back on Monday to ride them. Here are the pictures from Sunday when we were just walking around.
These are 'gold fish' but giant ones with huge mouths:
Here's Amber and Jorge looking at the fish:

We followed this chicken forever before getting this picture:
A big turkey- they are ugly aren't they? Jorge was making loud noises at it to make it gobble, that was fun:

A peacock. I said they were just so pretty and Amber said I know, they're just so rare. So I guess, this is the rarest most beautiful bird there is:

Me and a horse:This parrot was the hardest thing to get a picture of- it wouldn't face me and kept moving around, but I finally got this one:I liked this cow:
Amber and Jorge on the trolley:
Me on the train- this car was the presedential suite, leather seats and all:

Teatro Nacional

On December 7th I went to the Teatro Nacional to see the Nutcracker. I've never seen it before and didnt even know the story so it was interesting, I did enjoy it (although some parts were boring, but thats probably because my family wasnt raised to appreciate ballet) Heres me in front of the theatre with Randalls girlfriend (the other girl in the front) and two of her coworkers, the girl next to me is from Greenwood, IN (how weird is that!):
Here's us again, a little bit clearer. Ther were about 9 of us who went:

Well as most of you know I can only go so long without doing something different to my hair. And it had been a few months so Amber and I did some highlights. Here's me in the cap, ready for the dye:
Here's me showing what it's supposed to look like when it's done:
And here's the final product, very blonde! I was hoping for subtle highlights, but got something very different. It's ok, I can be blonde for awhile and then Jessica can give me lowlights =):

Teppanyaki

This weekend Me & Monica (my boss) went to Matsuri Restaurante Japones and had Teppanyaki, it was so good! And we had so much fun. We had a chef that made our dinner in front of us while doing all kinds of tricks with the knife and spatula. Here he is making our mixed vegetables:
Heres me. I had a big piece of chicken in between my chopsticks along with that bean sprout but it fell out right as the picture was taken:
Here's Monica eating the ToFu out of her soup (when we first started the night eating with the chopsticks was more like a game):
Here's the chef starting the meat and the fried rice, he waited to light the fire until I was ready with the camera:

Ok, here he has our ice cream on the grill along with the bananas and cake. After he took all the food off he made a cady-like topping for the ice cream out of the left over cream on the grill (it was amazing, first time I've enjoyed ice cream in Costa Rica):

Here's the final product- so good:
